This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application Everal Mart (the "App").

Everal Mart is a mart owner management application that enables users to start and manage their own virtual or physical mart business. The App provides features including inventory management, sales tracking, profit analytics, bank account management for withdrawals, and comprehensive business tools.

By downloading, installing, or using the App, you consent to the collection and use of information as described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with these terms, please do not use the App.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Account Information

When you register and use the App, we collect:

Mobile Number: Required for OTP-based login authentication
Name: Your first and last name for profile display
Date of Birth: For age verification
Gender: Optional profile information
Profile Photo: Optional, only if you choose to upload one

2.2 Location Data (Login Security)

We request location permission only during login for account security:

To show you where your account was accessed from in Login History
To help you identify if someone else accessed your account
To send you alerts when login happens from a new location

Important: We do NOT track your location in the background. Location is captured only once when you log in.

2.3 Device Information

For security and login history, we collect:

Device type (mobile/tablet/desktop)
Operating system and version
Browser name and version
IP address

2.4 Payment Information (For Withdrawals)

If you choose to withdraw earnings, you may add:

Bank Account: Account holder name, account number, IFSC code, bank name
UPI ID: Your UPI address for receiving payments

This information is stored securely and used only to process your withdrawal requests.

Contacts or address book
SMS, call logs, or messages
Photos or files from your device (except profile photo you upload)
Background location
Microphone or camera access (except for profile photo)

To authenticate you via OTP and keep your account secure
To display your profile information within the App
To show your login history with device and location details
To process withdrawal requests to your bank account or UPI
To send you OTP and important notifications via WhatsApp
To allow you to manage devices accessing your account

4. Data Storage & Security

4.1 Where Data is Stored

Your data is stored on secure servers located in India.

4.2 Security Measures

All data is transmitted via secure HTTPS connection
OTPs expire within 5 minutes after generation
Bank account information is stored with encryption
Session tokens are cryptographically secure
You can view and manage all devices logged into your account

4.3 Cookies & Local Storage

We use cookies and local storage to:

Keep you logged in (session cookies)
Remember your preferences
Store your user ID for authentication

Cookies are stored for 30 days and are essential for app functionality.

5. App Permissions

Used only during login to record your location for security. Shown in Login History so you can identify suspicious logins. No background tracking.

Required for app functionality - login, data sync, and all features.

Only used when you choose to upload a profile photo. Not required for app usage.

6. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

Google Play Services: For app distribution (Privacy Policy)
WhatsApp Business API: To send OTP and important notifications to your mobile number
OpenStreetMap Nominatim: To convert coordinates to city/state name for login history

We do NOT sell or share your personal data with any third party for advertising or marketing purposes.

7. Age Requirement

This App is intended for users 18 years and above as it involves financial transactions. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.

8. Data Retention

Account Data: Retained as long as your account is active
Login History: Kept for 90 days for security purposes
Transaction Records: Retained for 3 years as per financial regulations
Deleted Data: Permanently removed within 30 days of deletion request

9. Your Rights

Access: View your data anytime in the App
Update: Edit your profile and payment information
Delete: Request complete account deletion
Control: Manage your profile, bank accounts, and connected devices
Deny Location: You can deny location permission, though login history won't show location details

🗑️ Delete Your Account

You can request account deletion through:

In-App: My Marts → Manage Mart → Profile → Settings Tab → Delete Account
Email: Send request to [email protected] with your registered mobile number

Your data will be permanently deleted within 30 days of request.

Clear Local Data:

To clear app data from your device: Settings → Apps → Everal Mart → Clear Data

10. Changes to Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted here with an updated "Last Updated" date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
